In 2018, Cline was cast as Sarah Cameron in Outer Banks, the first season of which was released on April 15, 2020. Considered her breakout role, the show received positive reviews and a second season which premiered in July 2021. In September 2020, Cline and Chase Stokes starred in the music video for Kygo and Donna Summer’s single “Hot Stuff.” Most recently, she’s known for starring in Knives Out 2 with Daniel Craig, Kate Hudson, Jessica Henwick, Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr., and Janelle Monae.
