Eric Stonestreet is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Cameron Tucker in the ABC mockumentary sitcom Modern Family. He has won two Emmy Awards for his performance. He began his career as a comedian, performing in comedy clubs throughout the country. He made his acting debut in a 1999 episode of the legal drama The Practice and went on to appear in several television shows, including Providence, Judging Amy, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Stonestreet has also provided the voice of Duke in The Secret Life of Pets and its sequel, as well as appearing in films such as Bad Teacher and Identity Thief. Modern Family also starred Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Rico Rodriguez.
