Arnold Schwarzenegger had a Chocolate Labrador dog named Gustav, which was also the name of Schwarzenegger’s father. Considering that he got Gustav in the late 2000s and hasn’t mentioned him when asked about dogs in recent years, we imagine he has since passed away. Enjoy a video of the pair cruising in a Hummer below.
Whiskey the Mini Horse (Horse)
Arnold Schwarzenegger has a miniature horse named Whiskey that he got in the early 2010s. Whiskey was originally a gift for his daughter Katherine, but she eventually wasn’t spending much time with her. So Arnold started bringing Whiskey to his house (then eventually into his house.) Whiskey first stepped into the spotlight in November 2014, when Schwarzenegger shared a photo of Whiskey sharing breakfast with him. Fans were delighted to meet any new pet of Arnie’s, and with it being a mini-horse, AND that it was eating breakfast with him in his kitchen – Really took the reveal to another level! Whiskey even commutes with Schwarzenegger to his office on occasion, which you can see below.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has a cute rescued Yorkshire Terrier named Cherry. His granddaughter Lyla is in love with Cherry and often asks her mom, Katherine Schwarzenegger, when she can visit her Opa to see Cherry.
Before Schnelly, Arnold Schwarzenegger had a pet pig named Bacon. He got Bacon in the mid-1990s, after working with George Clooney on Batman & Robin and meeting Clooney’s iconic pet pig named Max.
I always liked that he was into pigs; he has this little pig that he takes everywhere. So I bought a pig right after that. Only thing is, I must’ve bought the wrong one because, in no time, it was 300 pounds and I could barely lift the son of a gun.Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Columbus Dispatch, March 2014
Some websites incorrectly state that Schwarzenegger has a dog named Noodle. He has never mentioned this dog publicly when discussing his pets, and there has never been a dog on his social media posts other than those mentioned here. It may be some thought his Yorkie, Cherry, was named Noodle, leading to people thinking he had an additional dog named Noodle.
Lulu the Mini Donkey (Donkey)
Along with his min horse, Whiskey, Arnold Schwarzenegger also has a pet miniature donkey named Lulu. After taking Whiskey in, Arnold’s girlfriend, Heather Milligan, thought the mini-horse could use a mini-companion. So she got Lulu for her (and Arnold)! Along with joining Arnie at his office, Lulu is known to work out with the former bodybuilding champ and join in on ZOOM calls.
Arnold Schwarzenegger had a Cockapoo named Sarge that he got in the early 2000s and lived until the early 2010s. Sarge is seen here being help by his daughter Katherine, next to his son Patrick, who’s holding his Cockapoo Champ. This photo was posted to Instagram by his ex-wife Maria Shriver on Twitter in 2012.
Sammy and Spunky (Dog)
Arnold Schwarzenegger had two yellow labs named Sammy and Spunky in the early 2000s when he was governor of California.
