Emma Thompson's Pets

Emma Thompson is an acclaimed British actress, screenwriter, author, and activist. She is best known for her Academy Award-winning performances in such films as Howard’s End and Sense and Sensibility, as well as her iconic roles in Love Actually and the Harry Potter franchise. She then made her feature film debut in the 1986 drama Fortunes of War, and went on to become a major star in both British and American cinema. She most recently starred in Cruella (2021), playing opposite Emma Stone.

Throughout her career, Thompson has been nominated for countless awards and has won two Oscars, three Golden Globes, two British Academy Film Awards, and four Emmy Awards. She is also a tireless activist, lending her voice to a variety of causes, including the fight against climate change and the protection of endangered species. Thompson is married to actor Greg Wise and has one child with him named Gaia.
