Julian Dennison's Pets

Julian Dennison is a New Zealand actor recognized for his role as Ricky Baker in “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” (2016). His portrayal garnered critical acclaim and he was subsequently cast in prominent roles in Hollywood films such as “Deadpool 2” (2018) and “Godzilla vs. Kong” (2021).

Dennison made his acting debut in the film “Shopping” (2013), for which he received the New Zealand Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. “Hunt for the Wilderpeople,” directed by Taika Waititi, achieved record-breaking success as the highest-grossing New Zealand film at the time. His international film roles include the mutant Firefist in “Deadpool 2” and a significant part in “Godzilla vs. Kong.” He also provided voice work for “The Christmas Chronicles 2” (2020) and “Maya and the Three” (2021).

Dennison has worked with several notable actors in the film industry, including Ryan Reynolds in “Deadpool 2,” Millie Bobby Brown and Alexander Skarsgård in “Godzilla vs. Kong,” Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn in “The Christmas Chronicles 2,” and Zoe Saldana in “The Adam Project.” He has also collaborated multiple times with director Taika Waititi.
