Jesse Tyler Ferguson
Jesse Tyler Ferguson is an American actor best known for his role as Mitchell Pritchett on the ABC sitcom Modern Family. He has been nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards and four Screen Actors Guild Awards, winning one of each. He is also an advocate for the LGBT community and has been involved in various causes, including same-sex marriage, civil rights, and transgender rights. He studied theater at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and graduated in 2000. He then went on to appear in numerous Off-Broadway plays, as well as his breakout role as Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He has also appeared in various TV series and films, including Ugly Betty, The Class, and The Good Wife. Modern Family also starred Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, and Rico Rodriguez.
