Millie Bobby Brown was recently interviewed for Vanity Fair. It covered plenty for fans of the Stranger Things star – But we’re here to focus on famous four-legged family members of celebrities, so we’re recapping all the new deets she dropped in the interview on her farm life and her backyard animal shelter.

The Vanity Fair journalist visited Millie at her home, which is a farm estate in Georgia. The journalist got a very rare tour of a cozy barn, where she houses dogs that she saves from local kill shelters. These lucky pups are then adopted through the rescue she cofounded called Joey’s Friends, where she personally helps promote the rescues by appearing in many of their posts (and has done her best to interview some of her foster dogs)
Vanity Fair went on to share they met a chunky bulldog named Mama, who was sent over from Yogi’s House, which is the pet rescue co-founded by Nicola Peltz Beckham.
And that fans of Nicola have made donations towards Mama, which resulted in Mama getting her own tiny treadmill and a small TV. And while we’re sure Mama would love a furever home – She ain’t having too ruff a time crashing at Millie’s.
Millie went on to share that after launching her animal rescue in 2022, she started taking veterinary studies – And even bought an ultrasound machine to learn how to scan animals for pregnancy.
“I’m able to treat wounds, take their pulse, moderate blood pressure, things like that. I do all their medical records myself. Now I just have to do my externship, which is like sitting in on surgeries and things like that. Adoption campaigns [on social media] are wonderful temporarily, but you really have to get in there and do the work to make a difference.”

The lucky journalist also got to meet her farm animal family, who are also rescues – Including sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, and more.
Last March, Millie revealed she has 9 rescues and was fostering 23 dogs!
