Better Call Saul star and comedy icon Bob Odenkirk has been volunteering to help evacuate overcrowded pet shelters due to the Los Angeles Wildfires, as well as help encourage donations to the incredible non-profit organizations involved. Odenkirk and the Best Friends Animal Society team have been working tirelessly to fly pets from L.A. shelters to their location in Kanab, Utah over the last week. (Odenkirk adopted his dog Pip from Best Friends Animal Society in 2018)
They have been sending close to 100 each day to make room for the countless displaced pets on the way, all thanks to air transportation provided by the amazing humans at Wings of Rescue (who have saved over 76,00 pets since launching) For more details, see Odenkirk’s interview with Entertainment Tonight.
If you’re able to donate, please visit bestfriends.org or wingsofrescue.org. And see below if you’d like the full interview.
