Yasmin Finney
Yasmin Finney is an English actress most notably recognized for her role as Elle Argent in the Netflix series “Heartstopper,” a performance that earned her a nomination for a Children’s and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance. She also joined the long-standing series “Doctor Who” in 2023.
Finney’s portfolio is marked by diversity and dramatic flair. She first graced the screen as Elle Argent in “Heartstopper,” which premiered in 2022. Initially, she was cast in the Billy Porter film “Anything’s Possible,” but had to withdraw due to COVID-19 travel restrictions affecting her U.S. work visa. In addition to her television work, she is set to appear in the upcoming short film “Mars,” playing the character Charlie Acaster, which premiered at the London Film Festival in October 2022.
