Stephanie Rice is an Australian former competitive swimmer. She won three gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in the 200-metre individual medley, 400-metre individual medley, and 4×200-metre freestyle relay. She was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2009 for her service to sport.

Rice competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, winning alongside teammates Bronte Barratt, Kylie Palmer, and Linda Mackenzie in the 4×200-metre freestyle relay. In individual events, she competed against Katie Hoff in the 200-metre and 400-metre individual medleys. Rice trained under coach Michael Bohl during her Olympic preparations. She participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she raced alongside Alicia Coutts. Outside competitive swimming, she appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice Australia (2013), working alongside Roxy Jacenko, Prinnie Stevens, and Peter Berner. She also contributed as a commentator for Channel Seven’s coverage of swimming events.
