Kelsea Ballerini
Kelsea Ballerini is an American country pop singer. Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Ballerini began singing and songwriting at a young age, and by the time she was a teenager, she was performing at local venues and festivals.
Ballerini’s debut came in 2014 with the release of her debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It,” which quickly climbed the charts and became a platinum-certified hit. The debut single made her the first female artist to send a debut single to the top of that chart since Carrie Underwood in 2006. This success was followed by a string of other popular singles, including “Dibs,” “Peter Pan,” and “Miss Me More,” all of which showcased Ballerini’s signature blend of pop and country music. Ballerini released of her second studio album, “Unapologetically,” in 2017. The album received critical acclaim and debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200 chart, cementing Ballerini’s place as one of country music’s brightest stars.
Throughout her career, Ballerini has collaborated with a number of other artists and celebrities, including pop singer Halsey, country legend Kenny Chesney, and Grammy-winning producer Shane McAnally. She has also performed alongside other prominent country music stars, such as Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett.
In addition to her music career and advocacy work, Ballerini has also made appearances on a number of television shows and specials, including the CMT Music Awards, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the CMA Country Christmas special.
