Jason Mitchell
Jason Mitchell is an American actor known for portraying Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton (2015) and Brandon Johnson in The Chi (2018–2019). He appeared in films such as Mudbound (2017), Kong: Skull Island (2017), and Detroit (2017). His television work includes roles in Forever (2018) and Zola (2020).
Mitchell starred alongside O’Shea Jackson Jr. in Straight Outta Compton, portraying N.W.A’s founding member Eazy-E. In The Chi, he played a chef struggling with life on Chicago’s South Side, acting opposite Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine. He appeared in Mudbound with Mary J. Blige, portraying a World War II veteran facing racial tensions. In Kong: Skull Island, he shared the screen with Tom Hiddleston in the action-adventure film. His role in Detroit placed him alongside John Boyega in a drama based on real events. In Zola, he played a supporting role in the crime-comedy alongside Taylour Paige.
