Fiona Shaw
Fiona Shaw CBE is an Irish actress and director, recognized for her contributions to classical theatre and contemporary film and television. She has received a BAFTA Award and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for her services to drama. Shaw’s roles include Petunia Dursley in the “Harry Potter” film series and Carolyn Martens in “Killing Eve.”
Shaw’s film and television credits include portraying Marnie Stonebrook in HBO’s “True Blood,” a character in “My Left Foot,” and voice work in the animated film “The English Teacher.” Her role in “Harry Potter” spanned multiple films, contributing to the series’ global success. In “Killing Eve,” she played a senior MI6 officer, a role that extended over all seasons of the show.
Fiona Shaw has worked with Emma Thompson in “Wit,” Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint in the “Harry Potter” series, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer in “Killing Eve,” Julia Ormond in “Temple Grandin,” and Bill Nighy in “The Young Visiters.”
