Tomato, Gordon Ramsay’s fittingly named English Bulldog, made his first celebrity red carpet appearance on Wednesday. Tomato jetsetted along with Ramsay all the way in Macao, on the south coast of China.
The pair were there for the opening of the Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill restaurant at The Londoner Macao, a luxury resort and casino (where fellow Brit David Beckham is an ambassador.)
In traditional English Bulldog fashion, the pup showed his stubborn side – Red carpet be damned. When posing for photos on the red carpet, Ramsay asked him to sit, with no results. He then asked, “Sit nicely.” His politeness worked, with Tomato glancing approvingly back up at him. Ramsay posted an Instagram story of the moment with the caption, “The toughest guest at #gordonramsaypubandgrill last night”
The Londoner posted a nice gallery of the celebrity chef dad and his fur son.
