Warwick Davis
Warwick Davis is an English actor born on February 3, 1970. Born with a rare bone growth condition that causes dwarfism, he started his career in acting at age 12 when actors under four feet were needed to play Ewoks in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (1983). Davis was already a huge fan of the first two Star Wars films, making this a childhood dream come true. Nice guy Mark Hamil also bought him all the Star Wars action figures he didn’t already have. He’s best known for his leading roles in Willow (1998) with Val Kilmer and the Leprechaun film series (1993-2003). He played the goblin Griphook in the Harry Potter film series (2001-2011). He starred as a fictionalized version of himself in the TV series Life’s Too Short (2012-2013) with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Most recently, he reprised his role as Willow for the Disney+ series Willow (2022).
