Rhys Darby
Rhys Darby is a New Zealand actor and comedian. His career started as a stand-up comic, with his first notable acting role on the TV series, Flight of the Conchords, alongside Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie. His first Hollywood role was playing Jim Carrey’s boss in Yes Man. He’s most well known for his role in the Jumanji reboot and its sequel which starred Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Nick Jonas, and Bobby Cannavale. In 2022, Darby landed his first leading role with HBO Max’s Our Flag Means Death, which also stars New Zealand director and actor Taika Waititi.
