Mia Kirshner is a Canadian actress and writer, known primarily for her role as Jenny Schecter in the television series “The L Word.” Kirshner has also gained recognition for her performances in films such as “Exotica” and “The Black Dahlia.”

Kirshner’s career began with roles in television series such as “Dracula: The Series” and “War of the Worlds.” Her film debut came with “Love and Human Remains” (1993), where she played the role of Benita.
