Mia Kirshner
Mia Kirshner is a Canadian actress and writer, known primarily for her role as Jenny Schecter in the television series “The L Word.” Kirshner has also gained recognition for her performances in films such as “Exotica” and “The Black Dahlia.”
Kirshner’s career began with roles in television series such as “Dracula: The Series” and “War of the Worlds.” Her film debut came with “Love and Human Remains” (1993), where she played the role of Benita. She gained wider recognition with her role in Atom Egoyan’s “Exotica” (1994), portraying a stripper named Christina. Kirshner appeared in “The Crow: City of Angels” (1996) and “Not Another Teen Movie” (2001). In Brian De Palma’s “The Black Dahlia” (2006), she played Elizabeth Short. She also appeared in the television series “24” as Mandy and had a recurring role in “The Vampire Diaries.”
