Mac McAnally
Mac McAnally is an American country music singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer, known primarily for his work as a member of Jimmy Buffett‘s Coral Reefer Band and for his solo career, which includes several chart-topping singles and award-winning albums.
McAnally’s career in music began in the late 1970s with the release of his debut album “Mac McAnally.” He achieved success with his 1990 hit single “Back Where I Come From,” which became a notable song in country music. As a songwriter, McAnally has penned numerous hits for other artists, including Alabama’s “Old Flame” and Sawyer Brown’s “All These Years.” He is a key member of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, contributing significantly to Buffett’s sound. McAnally has also produced albums for various artists.
