Jasmine Cephas Jones is an American actress and singer best known for her roles in the Broadway musical “Hamilton” and the HBO series “Blindspotting.”

Cephas Jones gained widespread recognition when she portrayed dual roles as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton.” This groundbreaking musical took Broadway by storm, earning her a spot in the spotlight. Besides “Hamilton,” she has showcased her talent in other avenues as well. Cephas Jones has appeared in multiple television series such as “Girls,” “Midnight, Texas,” and HBO’s “Mrs. Fletcher.” On the film front, she has contributed to works like “Dog Days,” “Monsters and Men,” and notably “Blindspotting,” a critically acclaimed film that later led to the development of a television series of the same name, where she reprised her role as Ashley.
