David Duchovny
David Duchovny is an American actor, author, and musician, best known for his portrayal of FBI Agent Fox Mulder on the science fiction-thriller series The X-Files and as Hank Moody in the comedy-drama series Californication.
Duchovny’s career started in the late 1980s with appearances in low-profile commercials and small roles in films. He gained some attention with a part in Working Girl (1988) and later on series like Twin Peaks as DEA agent Denise Bryson. However, his major breakthrough came with The X-Files (1993), which became a defining part of 90s television culture. Throughout the series, Duchovny acted opposite Gillian Anderson as Agent Scully. After The X-Files, Duchovny starred in Californication (2007-2014), where he played a witty and troubled writer, earning him a Golden Globe for Best Actor.
His acting including working with directors like Richard Attenborough and David Fincher, and actors such as Brad Pitt and Téa Leoni, who was also his wife from 1997 to 2014.
