This role got her several award nominations, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Her first major role was starring on the ABC comedy series Fresh Off the Boat with Randall Park, This role earned her four nominations for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Her other notable film roles include Hustlers (2019) with Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Cardi B, and Lizzo. And Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile (2022), starring Shawn Mendes.
