Ken Jeong is an American stand-up comedian, actor, producer, writer, television personality, and licensed physician. He rose to prominence for playing Leslie Chow in The Hangover film series (2009–2013) and Ben Chang In Dan Harmon’s NBC sitcom Community (2009–2015). He created, wrote, and produced the ABC sitcom Dr. Ken (2015–2017), in which he portrays the titular character, and he has appeared in the films Knocked Up (2007), Role Models (2008), Furry Vengeance (2010), The Duff (2015), Ride Along 2 (2016), and Tom and Jerry (2021). Ken Jeong, renowned for his unique blend of comedy and dramatic chops, has had a career glittering with collaborations with industry legends. His first significant foray into comedy films was in 2007 with the cult classic, Knocked Up, alongside the dynamic duo of Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd. 2009, however, was when Jeong gained international acclaim for his portrayal of Mr. Chow in the Hangover trilogy, alongside Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis. A collaborative act that cemented Jeong’s place in Hollywood’s comedy elite. This momentum carried him into television, where he teamed up with the likes of Joel McHale and Donald Glover in the critically acclaimed Community from 2009 to 2015. His affable persona also caught the attention of Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, leading to a hilarious role in the hit movie, Ride Along 2 in 2016. Jeong’s collaborative journey took an interesting twist in 2019 when he began co-judging with Robin Thicke on the reality show The Masked Singer.

His performance as Ben Chang in Community earned him a TV Guide Award for Favorite Ensemble in 2012, underlining his incredible ability to shine even amongst an ensemble cast. The year 2016 saw him earn the BTVA Television Voice Acting Award for his role in the animated series Bob’s Burgers.” In 2020, Jeong’s versatility took center stage as he was bestowed with the Critics’ Choice Real TV Award for his role as a judge in The Masked Singer.
