Carmine Giovinazzo
Carmine Giovinazzo is an American actor, writer, and musician best known for his role as Detective Danny Messer on the CBS procedural drama CSI: NY (2004–2013). He was the first actor to appear in all three primary CSI series and has contributed as both a performer and writer within the franchise.
In CSI: NY, he acted alongside Gary Sinise, Melina Kanakaredes, and Hill Harper. He guest-starred in CSI: Miami and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, performing with David Caruso and William Petersen. He appeared in Graceland (2014–2015), acting opposite Daniel Sunjata. He starred in Shasta McNasty (1999–2000), sharing scenes with Jake Busey. He played a supporting role in Black Hawk Down (2001), appearing with Josh Hartnett. He had guest roles in Criminal Minds (2016) and NCIS (2013), acting with Joe Mantegna and Mark Harmon. Giovinazzo is also the lead vocalist and guitarist for the band Ceesau.
