Kylie Kelce just shared the sad news that Winnie, one of her and Jason Kelce’s Irish Wolfhounds, has passed away. Fans of the Kelce’s know how big a part of their family their two dogs were – Both physically and in their hearts. Winnie has been making regular appearances on Kylie’s Instagram since 2017, with Baloo joining in 2018.
Kylie posted a tribute on Instagram with a touching history of her love of Irish Wolfhounds and Winnie. As a teen, she had a computer folder labeled “God’s Gift to Earth,” which included a collection of Irish Wolfhound photos. This all led up to her welcoming Winnie and then Baloo into her family. Among the fans, friends, and family leaving condolences in the comments, Travis Kelce said, “You have [sic] Winn an amazing life Ky!!” (We’re assuming a typo and that he meant “gave”)
Winnie was Kylie and Jason’s furry flower girl at their wedding in April 2018.
Then several months later, Baloo joined their new happy family.
And despite her size, Winnie was still a lap dog and though she wasn’t tall enough to jump on the bed.
