Yo Gotti, whose real name is Mario Mims, is an American rapper, record executive, and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee. With over two decades in the music industry, Yo Gotti has made a name for himself as one of the most influential rappers in the game. One of Yo Gotti’s early roles was in the 2013 film “I Told U So,” where he played a supporting role. He also had a cameo in the 2015 film “Pixels” alongside Adam Sandler and Kevin James. In addition to his acting work, Yo Gotti has made a name for himself as a successful businessman. He is the founder and CEO of the record label Collective Music Group (CMG), which has signed several successful artists including Blac Youngsta and Moneybagg Yo.
Yo Gotti’s career has been marked by several milestones, including the release of his debut studio album “Youngsta’s On a Come Up” in 1996. He gained mainstream attention with his 2009 single “5 Star,” which peaked at number 79 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
