Uzo Aduba is an American actress known for her role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black. She won two Primetime Emmy Awards for this role. Aduba has played significant roles in television, film, and theatre.

Aduba portrayed Shirley Chisholm in the FX series Mrs. America, winning another Primetime Emmy Award. In film, she appeared in Miss Virginia as the lead and played a supporting role in Beats. On Broadway, she performed in Godspell and Coram Boy. She also provided the voice of Bismuth in the animated series Steven Universe.

Throughout her career, Aduba collaborated with Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon in Orange Is the New Black. In Mrs. America, she worked with Cate Blanchett.
