Rúben Dias is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a center-back for Manchester City and the Portugal national team. Hailing from Amadora, Portugal, Dias has become a pillar of defense, making his mark in European football.

Dias began his senior career with S.L. Benfica, where he played a critical role in the team’s domestic successes. It was during this period that his skills as a defender started to gain wider recognition. After an impressive run with Benfica, he transferred to Manchester City in September 2020. His arrival bolstered City’s defensive capabilities and was instrumental in their success in the Premier League and other competitions.
