Lee Dahlberg has a black cat named Elby. Elby was a stray that turned up one day at Dahlberg’s house so he decided to take him in!

Bob Marley (Dog)

Lee Dahlberg had a dog named Bob Marley, that sadly passed away in August 2022. Dahlberg posted this tribute to him on Instagram, “My heart is broken today…I lost my best friend in the world…Bob Marley passed away today peacefully in the arms of loved ones. Bob was the rescue dog that really rescued me. I am devastated & I was beyond consoling…Yet, my co workers, my family & my friends gave me so much love today that it made me feel incredibly lucky in this life that I have. And by this overwhelming expression of pure love I experienced today, my lil guy Bob has managed to save me one last time! May my little man Rest In Peace✨”

Gunther VI, born in 2018, is considered the world’s richest dog with a fortune estimated at around $400 million. He comes from a lineage of German Shepherds, starting with Gunther III. The story was that Gunther III inherited $80 million from his human, a German countess named Karlotta Liebenstein. Gunther VI’s owner and handler is Maurizio Mian, who is also CEO of The Gunther Corporation. Gunther VI made headlines in 2021 for selling his Miami mansion for $32 million, after his grandfather, Gunther IV, bought it from Madonna in 2000 for $7.5 million. After the release of the 2023 Netflix docuseries Gunther’s Millions, it became widely known that the story of Karlotta Leivenstein was a hoax and Gunther VI’s wealth is actually Maurizio Mian’s.

Gunther V is part of the Gunther German Shepherd dynasty and was formerly the world’s richest dog, before his son, Gunther VI, took his place. Gunther V lived from 2005 until 2018.

Gunther IV (Dog)

Breed: German Shepherd | Adopted 1992

Gunther IV the German Shepherd was the original “World’s Richest Dog” and he lived until the age of 13 (1992 until 2005). His official caretaker was Maurizio Mian, who also ran The Gunther Corporation. His story was that his dad, Gunther III, was left an $80 million dollar trust when his human, German countess Karlotta Leibenstein, passed away in 1991. Gunther IV was well known in his home country of Italy during the 1990s. He became famous in the United States in 2000, after buying Madonna’s Miami mansion for $7.5 million, which his grandson, Gunther VI, sold in 2021 for $32 million. After the release of the 2023 Netflix docuseries Gunther’s Millions, it became widely known that the story of the countess was fake and that the money was Mian’s family’s. Gunther IV was a puppy related to Gunther III, who was actually the pet of Mian’s former girlfriend, Antonella Signorini.

Lee Dahlberg is an American model, entrepreneur, actor, and designer. He’s best known for being the official spokesperson for Gunther VI, the world’s richest dog. He was originally the spokesperson for Gunther VI father and grandfather, Gunther IV and V. Dahlberg started his spokesperson role in 2001 when Gunter IV moved from Italy to Miami and bought Madonna’s mansion. He was also an original member of the Gunther Corporation’s “Burgundians”, a group of five entertainers that lived with Gunther in his Miami mansion.
