Kim Coates
Kim Coates is a Canadian-American actor known for his role as Alex “Tig” Trager in the FX series Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014). He appeared in films such as Goon (2011), Black Hawk Down (2001), and Bad Blood (2017–2018), for which he received a Canadian Screen Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series in 2018.
In Sons of Anarchy, Coates acted alongside Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Ron Perlman, Tommy Flanagan, Maggie Siff, and Theo Rossi. In Bad Blood, he starred with Anthony LaPaglia, Paul Sorvino, Enrico Colantoni, Maxim Roy, and Brett Donahue. In Goon, he performed with Seann William Scott and Liev Schreiber. In Black Hawk Down, he appeared with Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor, and Tom Sizemore. He acted in Prison Break with Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell. On stage, he performed in A Streetcar Named Desire at the Stratford Festival with Seana McKenna. Coates has also appeared in guest roles across series such as CSI and Chicago Fire, collaborating with actors including William Petersen and Jesse Spencer.
