Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress and model. Her role as Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe has made her one of the most iconic actresses in Hollywood today.
Gadot began her career as a model and beauty queen, winning the Miss Israel pageant in 2004 before embarking on an acting career. She gained recognition for her roles in Israeli films such as “Bubot” and “Kathmandu,” before landing her breakthrough role as Gisele Yashar in the “Fast and Furious” franchise alongside Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Gina Carano, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, and Luke Evans.
In 2017, Gadot made history as the first woman to headline a superhero film with “Wonder Woman,” which grossed over $800 million worldwide. Wonder Woman became the highest-grossing superhero origin movie at the time, with $821.749 million worldwide. It surpasses longtime chart-topper, 2002’s “Spider-Man.”
Gadot has worked with a diverse range of actors and filmmakers.
