Caroline Hjelt
Caroline Hjelt is best known as one half of the Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop, which gained international attention with the hit single “I Love It” featuring Charli XCX.
Icona Pop made waves in the music industry with their debut album “Icona Pop” in 2012, featuring hits like “All Night” and “Girlfriend.” The album was a commercial success and set the stage for their sophomore album “This Is… Icona Pop” in 2013. However, it was their single “I Love It” that garnered worldwide acclaim, making its way onto charts and into the public’s playlists, catapulting Caroline into the spotlight.
Caroline Hjelt has been part of several collaborations, extending her influence and demonstrating her versatility as an artist. She has worked with Charli XCX, the British singer who featured in “I Love It,” and other artists like Tove Lo, Zara Larsson, Elliphant, Louis the Child, Cobra Starship, Victoria Justice, Ty Dolla $ign, and even with the famous DJ and record producer Tiësto.
Throughout her career, Caroline has not been a stranger to recognition for her work. She and her Icona Pop partner, Aino Jawo, won the Swedish Grammy award for ‘Innovator of the Year’ in 2013. They also received an International Dance Music Award for “Best Pop Dance Track” for “I Love It.”
