Antoni Porowski is a Canadian television personality, chef, actor, model and author. He is the food and wine expert on the Netflix series Queer Eye (2018–present). In December 2017, it was announced that Porowski was hired as the food and wine expert in the Netflix revival of Queer Eye, which began airing in February 2018. He also founded a pet food brand called Yummers with Queer Eye co-star Jonathan Van Ness.
Porowski’s fame escalated with his involvement in Queer Eye, where his passion for food and culinary arts shone through. Beyond his on-screen appearances, Antoni has also published a cookbook, “Antoni in the Kitchen,” which became a New York Times Best Seller. This book showcases his creativity and love for diverse cuisines.
Porowski has worked with a plethora of artists, celebrities, and influential individuals. Among these collaborations are partnerships with Ted Allen, Rachael Ray, Martha Stewart, Chrissy Teigen, Bobby Berk, Tan France, Karamo Brown, and Taylor Swift.
Porowski’s unique blend of culinary expertise and charismatic television presence has earned him several awards and distinctions. For example, he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Structured Reality Program with Queer Eye in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Additionally, he was recognized with a James Beard Award nomination for Television Personality, and ‘Antoni in the Kitchen’ was named one of the best cookbooks of the year by several publications.
