André Gomes
André Filipe Tavares Gomes is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Everton and the Portugal national team. Gomes began his career at Benfica, where he won the domestic treble in the 2013–2014 season. He then moved to Valencia in 2014, and after two seasons, joined Barcelona in 2016. With Barcelona, Gomes secured two La Liga titles, among other trophies. In 2019, after a successful loan spell, he transferred to Everton. Internationally, Gomes has been part of the Portugal national team, contributing to their victory in the 2016 UEFA European Championship.
