Amber Benson
Amber Benson is an American actress, writer, director, and producer, best known for her role as Tara Maclay on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Benson’s acting career began in the early 1990s with appearances in films such as King of the Hill (1993) and The Crush (1993). Her breakout role came in 1999 when she was cast as Tara Maclay in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a role she played until 2002. Benson appeared in films like Chance (2002), which she wrote, directed, and produced, and Lovers, Liars & Lunatics (2006). Her television credits include guest appearances on Supernatural and Grey’s Anatomy. Benson is known for her voice acting work, providing the voice for Jane in the animated series The Legend of Korra.
Throughout her career, Benson has collaborated with several notable actors and creators. On Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she worked closely with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, and Nicholas Brendon. In the independent film Chance, she collaborated with James Marsters and Andy Hallett. Her work in The Legend of Korra involved interactions with voice actors like Janet Varney and David Faustino.
