Emily Ratajkowski was born in Westminster, London but was raised in San Diego, California. Her parents were both professors, her father an art teacher and her mother an intellectual and feminist.
Emily got her break in 2013 with her role in Robin Thicke’s music video, Blurred Lines. Around the same time, she was also in Maroon 5’s video Love Somebody. As a model, she has done everything from high fashion to art house erotica and swimsuit modeling for Sports Illustrated. She identifies as a feminist, is outspoken in her support of female sexual empowerment and is a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood.
Ratajkowski gained mass attention when she appeared in the 2013 music video “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke, featuring T.I. and Pharrell Williams.
