Martha Stewart Adds a Third Rescued Persian to Her Aristocratic Cat Collection

Just when you think Martha Stewart’s gorgeous farm couldn’t possibly become more aristocratic, she goes and adds another member to her feline royal family. She recently adopted Lilium, a majestic brown longhair and her third Persian cat, who includes a jetsetting backstory.

Lilium, a confident and friendly three-year-old, traveled all the way from Doha, Qatar, to find her furever home through New York’s Rock ‘N Rescue. She joins fellow Persians Magnolia, a silver-shaded beauty she adopted in January, and Dahlia, a stunning dilute calico. According to Stewart, the trio is acclimating well, with Lilium already making herself at home and showing off her playful side with requests for belly rubs.

At the farm, Lilium is settling into a life of luxury and observation, being “watched” by the curious Magnolia and embraced by the sociable Dahlia. Stewart notes that Lilium is already a great eater and feels safe enough to nap anywhere she pleases, a sure sign she’s thriving in her new, plush surroundings. And let’s not forget the other resident felines who hold down the outdoors with stable cats Cinco and Mayo, and greenhouse guardian Blackie. She also has two Bengal cats she got in 2022.

And last month, Martha Stewart rescued three abandoned baby squirrels!
