Doug the Pug is one of the biggest pet influencers out there with over 18 million followers and counting. The 12-year-old pug has been a fixture of pup culture for years, with being the first celebrity pet voice actor and starting a foundation to help kids with cancer on his long list of accomplishments. Doug is even a published author and counts the Crocodile Hunter’s family as his friends. But despite his huge aura, Doug is known to be a humble lil’ guy. And he was clearly starstruck over the chance to meet Billy the Kid (aka BTK), a Frenchie whose godmother is none other than Dolly Parton. (BTK is considered Dolly’s dog unofficially, but he’s technically her manager’s.
Doug and his sister Dory (a rescue adopted in June), along with their human Leslie Mosier, were invited to meet Dolly and BTK for a Christmas playdate. A highlight from the video is Dolly mentions wanting a pug… So lets home BTK finds a fur sibling under his tree this year!
In time for the season, BTK also published his second book, Billy the Kid Comes Home for Christmas.
