The international press tour by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman for Deadpool & Wolverine has been almost as epic as the universe-hopping Marvel itself – With non-stop interviews, news segments, and talk show appearances.
And at Celebrity Pets, we’re here to round up any of said content that also involves pets! Following Reynolds and Jackman doing an interview with adoptable puppies, they’ve also had a run-in with a couple of Shiba Inus while touring in China… But these aren’t just any Shiba Inus, there’s the Shiba-verse versions of Deadpool and Wolverine!
Both stars are delighted to randomly meet their Shiba equivalents, with Jackman thoroughly enjoying his pup’s name. And Reynolds puts some solid effort into pronouncing his pup’s name in Chinese. They obviously don’t need a reason to present them with cute Shibas, but I sadly couldn’t find the full interview or any more info on this (so thanks to @shibainus_home for sharing this precious clip). But let’s just start a rumor that in the Dogpool spinoff movie, these lucky shibes will make cameos. And Dogpool has yet to respond if he’s jealous of his on-screen dads cuddling with other dogs.
