Deadpool & Wolverine is part superhero movie, part road trip movie, and part bromance. And with Ryan Reynolds insisting that Dogpool (aka Peggy Britain’s Ugliest Dog 2023) has a bigger role in the film, it’s also part romantic comedy. And like with any rom-com, there’s plenty of laughs and kisses.
And Wolverine (aka Hugh Jackman) was clearly jealous of Reynolds.
Reynolds and Dogpool have great chemistry on and off screen, with their love and playfulness extended to their social media. First, Dogpool posted an outtake of their first on-screen kiss with the caption, “Ryan Reynolds’s tongue is an acquired taste. I recommend not acquiring it.”
Then Reynolds clearly couldn’t think of something wittier than Dogpool so he just copied the caption.
And a Ryan Reynolds fan account synced up how that kissing scene perfectly mirrored a kissing scene from The Proposal with Sandra Bullock.
Reynolds also went into detail on the scene when interviewed by Jackman on Jimmy Kimmel Live. And he revealed that the only way Dogpool would stand kissing him is with the assistance of salmon paste.
