Wayne Static was an American musician best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the industrial metal band Static-X. He achieved significant recognition in the metal music scene, with the band’s debut album “Wisconsin Death Trip” going platinum.

Static formed Static-X in 1994, releasing “Wisconsin Death Trip” in 1999, which included hits like “Push It” and “I’m with Stupid.” The band released several more albums, including “Machine” in 2001, “Shadow Zone” in 2003, “Start a War” in 2005, and “Cannibal” in 2007. Static’s solo album “Pighammer” was released in 2011, blending industrial and metal genres.
