Tobias Jesso Jr.'s Pets

Tobias Jesso Jr. is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Vancouver, Canada. He began playing music in his teens, learning piano, guitar and bass, and began writing songs in his early twenties. After working in various bands and recording his own demos, he released his debut album, Goon, in 2015. His music is characterized by classic songwriting and a unique blend of classic and modern influences, drawing from the sounds of 60s and 70s rock, pop, and folk. He’s best known for being a prolific songwriter for many of the top pop musicians of the 2010s and 2020s. Jesso Jr. has written or co-written songs for Sia, Adele, Shawn Mendes, John Legend, Pink, Charlie Puth, Florence and the Machine, Haim, Ellie Goulding, FKA twigs, Diplo, Marcus Mumford, Omar Apollo, Madison Beer, Harry Styles, and more. In 2023, he won the Grammy Award for Songwriter of the Year.
