Taylor Schilling is an American actress who is known for her roles in the Netflix original comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black and the short-lived NBC medical drama Mercy. She made her film debut in the 2007 drama Dark Matter. Schilling also starred as Nurse Veronica Flanagan Callahan in the NBC medical drama Mercy from 2009 to 2010. For her work on Orange Is the New Black, Schilling was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2014.
