Susan Egan
Susan Egan is an American actress and singer known for her work in musical theater, film, and television. She originated the role of Belle in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast (1994) and voiced Megara in Disney’s Hercules (1997). Her television credits include Steven Universe and House of Mouse. She has released multiple solo albums, including So Far (2002) and Coffee House (2004).
Egan starred as Belle in Beauty and the Beast, performing alongside Terrence Mann during the original Broadway run. In Hercules, she voiced Megara, working with Tate Donovan, who voiced the title character. She appeared in Steven Universe, voicing Rose Quartz in scenes with Zach Callison. In House of Mouse, she reprised her role as Megara, sharing dialogue with Wayne Allwine as Mickey Mouse. She released So Far, featuring collaborations with composer Alan Menken. Her album Coffee House included interpretations of Broadway and pop songs. She has also performed in national concert tours, appearing with various Broadway artists.
