Irish Wolfhounds are Sting’s favorite dog breed and he currently has at least six of them.
Dukesarum Irish Wolfhound Kennel (Dog)
The main reason it’s hard to peg down how many Irish Wolfhounds Sting and his wife Trudie Styler have, is because they have their own Irish Wolfhound kennel in England called “Dukesarum”. They’re not only advocates for the responsible breeding and care of Irish Wolfhounds, but they’re also active in breeding them. They’re also Patrons of the Irish Wolfhound Health Group.
Atticus (Dog)
Atticus was a beloved Irish Wolfhound of Sting’s that lived from 2015 to 2020. Some of his past Irish Wolfhounds were named Red, Geronimo, and Scout.
Finch (Dog)
Finch is the son of Sting’s late Irish Wolfhound Atticus.
Boo (Dog)
Boo is an Irish Wolfhound Sting added to his wolf pack in September 2021.
Mole, Saoirse, and Kit (Dog)
Sting and Trudie Styler added three Wolfhound puppies to their pack in 2022 named Mole, Saoirse, and Kit.
Meg (Dog)
Trudie Styler and Sting have an Irish Wolfhound named Meg. Meg is the daughter of Gypsy and Gideon. Gideon was her very first Wolfhound.
Compass (Dog)
Sting and Trudie Styler have two Pointers, this one is named Compass.
Spike (Dog)
Sting and Trudie Syler have a Pointer named Spike.

Sting previously had two Anatolian Shepherds.

Sting has owned many dogs over the years and not just Wolfhounds and Pointers. He’s owned Labradors, German Shepherds, Anatolian Shepherds, and more. in the early 2000s, he also had a Flat-Coated Retriever named Roux.

Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, better known as Sting, is an English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose career spans more than four decades and has sold over 100 million records. His career began in the late 1970s when he co-founded the band The Police and wrote songs such as “Roxanne” and “Every Breath You Take”. Sting has collaborated with many renowned artists, such as Peter Gabriel, Herbie Hancock, and Cheb Mami. He has also appeared on stage with a variety of actors and musicians, including Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder. He has won countless awards, including 17 Grammy Awards. He’s married to actress and producer Trudie Styler.
