Skrillex
Skrillex (real name Sonny John Moore) is an American electronic music producer and DJ who has become one of the most influential figures in the EDM scene. He is best known for his unique style of dubstep and electro-house music, which has earned him numerous awards, including 2 Grammy Awards, 2 MTV Music Awards, and 6 Electronic Music Awards.
Skrillex’s career began in 2004 when he joined the Los Angeles-based post-hardcore band From First to Last as their lead singer. After leaving the band in 2007, he began producing and writing his own music, which became his first solo EP “My Name is Skrillex”. Since then, he has released multiple EPs and albums, including “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites”, “Bangarang”, and “Recess”. In 2023, he released his second and third albums one day apart, titled Quest for Fire and Don’t Get Too Close.
Skrillex has worked and collaborated with a number of high-profile artists, such as Diplo, A$AP Rocky, Chance the Rapper, Justin Bieber, Ty Dolla Sign, and many more. He has also made several appearances in films and TV shows, such as “Suicide Squad” and “American Dad!”.
