Shuhua has two dogs named Haku and Mata. Haku was gifted to her along with Mata as a birthday present.
Shuhua (Yeh Shu Hua)
Yeh Shu Hua, known as Shuhua, is a member of the South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE. Shuhua made her debut with (G)I-DLE in 2018 with the mini-album “I Am,” featuring the hit single “LATATA.” The album was a commercial success, peaking at number 13 on the Gaon Album Chart. She has participated in various music shows and variety programs, including “Queendom,” where (G)I-DLE made a notable impact. Over the years, Shuhua’s work with the group has extended beyond music. She’s showcased her acting skills in web series like “Replay” and participated in reality shows such as “Learn Way.”
Shuhua has shared the stage and studio with notable individuals in the entertainment industry. Within (G)I-DLE, she has worked closely with Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, YUQI, and Soojin. Shuhua has also collaborated with BtoB’s Peniel Shin, who directed one of the group’s music videos, and Jung Ilhoon, who has produced for (G)I-DLE. They’ve appeared on shows hosted by Kim Shin-young, Lee Sang-min, and Jang Sung-kyu. Shuhua and her bandmates also caught attention when they collaborated with American DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on a remix of their song “HWAA.”
In 2018, Shuhua and her group received the Best of Next Award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and the New Artist Award at the Melon Music Awards. In 2020, (G)I-DLE took home the award for the Female Group at the Brand of the Year Awards.
