Does Selena Gomez Have Any Pets?

Selena Gomez adopted two rescue dogs named Winnie and Daisy, who are both small Poodles.

Selena Gomez has a rescue poodle named Winnie that she got in April 2019. Gomez said Winnie helped her deal with health problems and her breakup with Justin Bieber.

Daisy

Rescued

Selena Gomez adopted her second dog in March 2020 and said having Daisy and Winnie helped her keep busy during the COVID lockdown. Gomez has also said Daisy and Winnie get along really well and became friends right away.

Charlie

Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Adopted Sep 2017

In September 2017, Selena Gomez got a puppy named Charlie that was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This was when she was dating The Weeknd, but the couple broke up the following month. Fans wondered who would keep the pup after the split, which ended up being Gomez. Gomez didn’t have Charlie for long though, as she gave him to her family who had more time to care for him.

Baylor

Breed: Husky Mix | Adopted 2011
Rescued

Selena Gomez adopted a Husky mix in 2011 from a dog shelter in Winnipeg in Canada. She was dating Justin Bieber at the time, with many assuming they adopted the dog together. Beiber had said that Baylor was only Gomez’s dog and that Baylor didn’t really like him. Gomez said she was originally going to give Baylor as a gift to her nana, but fell in love and kept him. It seems that at some point, Gomez did give her dog to her nana, parents, or other family members, as she stopped mentioning or posting about him. Baylor was confirmed to be alive in 2021, thanks to Gomez’s little half-sister Gracie, who posted a video where Baylor made a brief appearance, with Gracie saying “he’s my favorite”.
