Seann William Scott is an actor, comedian, and producer who is best known for his breakout role as the lovable, foul-mouthed Stifler in the hit comedy franchise “American Pie”, which catapulted him to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Since then, he has gone on to star in a variety of films and television shows.

Born in Minnesota in 1976, Seann William Scott was attending a local community college before dropping out to pursue acting. He moved to Los Angeles in the late 1990s and began auditioning for roles, eventually landing the part of Steve Stifler in “American Pie” in 1999. The film was a massive success, grossing over $235 million worldwide and spawning multiple sequels, and Seann’s performance as the raunchy, yet endearing Stifler quickly made him a fan favorite. The movie starred an up-and-coming cast at the time including Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Tara Reid, Shannon Elizabeth, Natasha Lyonne, Mena Suvari, and already famous Eugene Levy.

Following the success of “American Pie”, Seann went on to star in a variety of films, including “Road Trip”, “Dude, Where’s My Car?”, and “Bulletproof Monk”. He also made appearances on popular television shows such as “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “Lethal Weapon”.

Some of Seann’s most notable collaborations include actor and producer Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, with whom he starred in the action-comedy “The Rundown” in 2003. The two quickly became friends, and Seann has spoken highly of Dwayne’s talent and work ethic in interviews. He has also worked with a variety of other well-known actors and directors, including Bruce Willis, Kevin Smith, and Jason Lee, among others.
