Hudson Riley Hawk, known professionally as Riley Hawk, is an American professional skateboarder. Unlike his father, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, who is renowned for his vert style, Riley Hawk has made a name for himself as a street skater. He turned professional on his 21st birthday in December 2013, coinciding with his recognition as Skateboarder magazine’s 2013 Amateur of the Year. Hawk is sponsored by notable brands such as Baker and Lakai.

In his skateboarding career, Hawk has achieved significant milestones. He was honored with the title of “Year’s Best Am” by The Skateboard Mag in December 2013, marking a significant achievement in his early professional career. Beyond skateboarding, Hawk has expanded his presence into the world of video games, featuring in the Tony Hawk’s video game series. He appears in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, further cementing his legacy in the skateboarding community.

Apart from his skateboarding career, Hawk is also known for his musical pursuits. He is the frontman of the punk band Warish, showcasing his versatility and creative talents beyond the skateboarding world. In his personal life, since early 2021, Hawk has been in a relationship with Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Hole frontwoman Courtney Love. The couple married on October 7, 2023, in Los Angeles, in a ceremony officiated by former R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, Cobain’s godfather.
