Pearl Mackie is a British actress known for playing Anne-Marie Frasier in BBC One soap opera Doctors and Bill Potts in the television series Doctor Who. Her first mainstream role came in 2013 in the music comedy Svengali. After finishing the role in the film, she began playing Anne-Marie Frasier in Doctors at the Park Theatre in London. After working in theatre for a few more years, she announced her role as Bill Potts, a companion of The Doctor in Doctor Who for their tenth season.
